This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge connections using ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents system fluid contact with the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, operating at temperatures up to 250°F. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is configured with a 3 HP Baldor motor in a 145 JM frame with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is rated for a 40°F ambient temperature and adheres to NEMA standards with premium efficiency ratings meeting MG1-12.55. This configuration includes AEGIS shaft grounding and possesses a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The motor rotation is counter-clockwise and includes a no drip cover.
