This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly is built with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The casing incorporates suction and discharge pressure tappings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 125 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 405T NEMA frame. Power requirements are 200V, 60Hz, 3PH, with across the line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS SGR and an insulated NDE bearing. The pump rests on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a guard. This unit provides a DOE PEI of 0.93.
