This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections. It is equipped with a bronze impeller that has a 7-1/4" nominal diameter and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit includes ANSI Class 125 flanges and provides pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 182 T frame, operating at 1150 RPM. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power and uses across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and features a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard.
