This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and is configured for a flush seal line.
This assembly is driven by a 15 HP, 1150 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 284 T-frame enclosure. The motor is a TEFC design that meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and operates on 230-460/60/3 power with across-the-line starting. It includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring and is configured for CCW rotation with a 40°C ambient rating. The pump is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods flexible coupler connects the pump to the motor.
