This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a tungsten carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and Viton rubber components, suitable for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300°F.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor, and the unit includes ceramic bearings at both the drive end and non-drive end. This model maintains a PEI value of 0.85.
