This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. The unit includes a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with the circulating fluid and connects via ANSI Class 125 flanges.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured in a NEMA 213 T frame. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply. The motor features premium efficiency that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This pump supports across the line starting and operates at a 40°C ambient temperature with counter-clockwise rotation. The product has a PEI value of 0.88.
