This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The internal mechanism utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F in clean water. This configuration does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 184 frame. Power requirements are 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz. The assembly is configured with a Woods coupler, a welded base with a drip pan, and a standard coupler guard. The motor is premium efficiency, meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and has a PEI of 0.91.
