This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration to prevent fluid contact. A mechanical seal, constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, functions at temperatures up to 250°F. The unit is equipped for clean water applications and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG motor in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The motor features an ODP enclosure, operates on 230-460/60/3PH power, and uses across-the-line starting. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and complies with NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
