This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. The assembly uses a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal comprised of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. It operates at temperatures up to 250°F for clean water applications and does not include a wear ring. The construction incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes a dry shaft design.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor uses a NEMA 365T frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan, a standard coupler guard, a Woods coupler, and a bearing frame with greasable bearings. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a PEI value of 0.93.
