This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250 °F for clean water applications. The casing includes pressure tappings for monitoring suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 145T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3PH with across the line starting and a 40 °C ambient rating. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
