This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller paired with a bronze wear ring. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a bearing frame with greasable bearings.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and mounts to a NEMA 256T frame. It utilizes an across-the-line starting option and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a welded base with an integral drip pan, an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. The system is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
