This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction and 3" discharge, utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit contains a 7-1/4" bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal composed of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts and aids in self-venting.
This pump is powered by a 40 HP, 3450 RPM Baldor TEFC motor, configured with a 324 JM frame with feet. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding, a factory-installed drip cover, and operates at a 50 °C ambient temperature. This pump is rated at a DOE PEI of 0.9.
