This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 6-1/4" nominal diameter and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact. The mechanical seal is composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. The casing includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 254 T-Frame, configured for 230-460/60/3 power. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a PEI value of 0.89.
