This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a cast iron casing and an 11-1/4" bronze impeller. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure with a NEMA 213T frame. It is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods flexible coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump has a PEI value of 0.95.
