This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller that is dynamically balanced. It uses a dry shaft design featuring a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal includes a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring system performance.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 324 T frame. The power supply is 230-460/60/3, and the unit is configured for across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. The motor is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment, and the pump has a PEI of 0.92.
