This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump is configured with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. It includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The unit is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. It operates at 3450 RPM using a 230-460/60/3PH power supply. The motor features a JM frame style with feet, premium efficiency ratings, and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting option is across the line, and the system is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI of 0.89.
