This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft and a ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber elements. Engineered with a dry shaft design, this unit handles pressures up to 125 PSI without a wear ring. Integral mounting feet allow for secure installation, while the construction permits maintenance without disturbing system piping. Gauge ports occupy the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The 2 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM and integrates Aegis grounding on a 380-460V / 3PH power supply with a DOE PEI rating of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
