This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 10" suction and an 8" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a class 30 cast iron casing equipped with a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a dry shaft design that features a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections, and the pump incorporates greasable bearings.
This unit is configured with a 40 HP Baldor motor in a 364 T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates at 1150 RPM on 230-460/60/3 power and meets premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. The motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding and utilizes across-the-line starting. The pump is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
