This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2-1/2" suction, and a 1-1/2" discharge. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for internal servicing without removing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in system venting and piping alignment.
The pump is configured with a 10 HP Baldor motor in a 213 JM frame style with feet and an ODP enclosure. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and includes a drip cover. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The equipment is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature and features a counter-clockwise rotation. This unit has a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.89 and is suitable for clean water applications.
