This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. The pump includes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and utilizes a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
This unit operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and NEMA 254T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across-the-line starting. The motor meets premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and has a DOE PEI of 0.91.
