This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction connection and a 2-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 10" nominal diameter, and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It incorporates a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal assembly featuring a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and is suitable for clean water applications utilizing a dry shaft design.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 213 T frame. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting. The assembly includes a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame features greasable bearings, and the motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This model meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
