This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter and is rated for clean water service at temperatures up to 250°F. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This model incorporates a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. Pressure tappings are provided for gauge ports at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured with a NEMA 215 T-frame and requires 230-460/60/3 PH power. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.87 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. The motor is configured for across-the-line starting and is rated for 40°C ambient operation.
