This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F for clean water applications. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the unit includes flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP, ODP Baldor motor on a NEMA 215 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard using a Woods coupler. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
