This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal configuration includes a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The bearing frame is equipped with greasable bearings.
This pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. It operates at 3450 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply using an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA Premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods flexible coupler for the drive connection. This unit has a DOE PEI value of 0.94 and is configured for 40°C ambient conditions.
