This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that isolates the fluid from the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a Ni-Resist seat, carbon rotor, and Viton rubber, with an operating temperature rating of 225°F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor housed in a NEMA 284T frame. The unit operates on 230-460/60/3 power using across-the-line starting. It features AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The motor and pump are connected by a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard and mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan. This configuration meets Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.92. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient conditions and CCW rotation.
