This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing includes flush seal line taps.
The pump is driven by a 15 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor motor in a NEMA 254T frame with an ODP enclosure. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power and meets premium efficiency standards, incorporating AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. The unit is rated with a DOE PEI of 0.94.
