This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel (NSF61) impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The assembly incorporates a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design includes a dry shaft configuration, pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, and flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design allows for servicing the pump without disturbing the system piping.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features a NEMA 184JM motor frame with feet. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions and uses across the line starting. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.84.
