This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This NEMA 213 T-frame motor is rated for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is configured for across the line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. It is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This pump meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.88.
