This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, an 11" nominal diameter stainless steel NSF61 impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation up to 250 °F. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections are standard. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a JM motor frame style with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly maintains a PEI rating of 0.86 and utilizes a top center line discharge design to simplify piping layouts and reduce piping strain.
