This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction connection and a 6" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump assembly includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze wear ring. The rotating assembly utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly incorporates a bearing frame with greasable bearings and a dry shaft design that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 75 HP Baldor TEFC motor, which is mounted on a NEMA 365 T frame. The electrical configuration supports a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting method. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump unit is installed on a welded structural steel base that features an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard for the standard Woods flexible coupler. This assembly is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature environment and possesses a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
