This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The design incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit uses grease-lubricated bearings and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge ports.
This unit uses a 3 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor in a 182T frame. Power requirements are 230-460V/60/3PH with an across-the-line starting configuration. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard featuring a Woods coupling. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 with a DOE PEI rating of 0.85. The motor operates in a 40°C ambient temperature environment.
