This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. The unit uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. It is configured with a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The suction measures 1-1/2" and the discharge measures 1-1/4", both featuring ANSI Class 125 flanges. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections, and the pump includes flush seal line taps. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing the system piping.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is built with a NEMA 182 JM frame style with feet and configured for 230/460V, 60Hz, 3PH electrical supply. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and incorporates AEGIS shaft grounding. Starting is achieved across the line, and the unit is rated for 40 °C ambient temperature. This pump has a PEI of 0.86.
