This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The pump includes a slip-on bronze shaft sleeve to protect the shaft from system fluids and features a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump is configured with flush seal line taps and a top center line discharge design that allows for rear pullout servicing.
This pump is driven by a 40 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor TEFC motor. It operates on 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power using an across-the-line starting method. The motor uses a 324 JM frame style with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature with a counter-clockwise rotation. This unit maintains a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.92.
