This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing incorporates pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump is configured with a 25 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor Super E TEFC motor in a NEMA 284 frame. The electrical system operates on 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an across the line starting option and a 40°C ambient rating. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a guard.
