This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250°F. This unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with across-the-line starting. It utilizes a NEMA 213 T-frame and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI value of 0.94. The assembly features AEGIS shaft grounding, a Woods coupler, and a welded base with an integral drip pan and a standard coupler guard. The motor is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and uses permanently lubricated sealed-for-life ball bearings.
