This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and flush seal line taps.
The unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP, 230-460V/60/3PH WEG TEFC motor. It uses a NEMA 184 T-frame motor and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and a standard coupler guard. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards, and the pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.91. This configuration is rated for 40 °C ambient conditions with counter-clockwise rotation.
