This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing and a 9-1/2" bronze impeller. It is constructed with a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the system fluid and the pump shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration assists in self-venting.
The pump is driven by a 1-1/2 HP, 1750 RPM TEFC Baldor motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 145 JM frame with feet and meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards with an AEGIS shaft grounding ring. This assembly operates at a 40 °C ambient temperature. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
