This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact with circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections allow for monitoring, and the casing includes flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor in a 254 T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration supports 230-460V, 3PH power with across the line starting. It includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, which features greasable bearings. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.89.
