This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with an integrated bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that utilizes a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. It maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating and integrates a ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber components. The construction allows for internal servicing without disrupting the system piping and includes suction and discharge gauge ports for monitoring system pressure.
Powered by a 15 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding, the unit utilizes 380-460V / 3PH power and meets a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
