This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection, both utilizing ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, providing a temperature rating of 250°F. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft.
The pump is driven by a 7 1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 254T frame. It operates at 1150 RPM on a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is configured with a Woods coupler and a standard coupler guard. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature.
