This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP Baldor TEFC motor. It is configured for 230-460/60/3 power with across the line starting and is housed in a NEMA 324 T-frame. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and greasable bearings. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard utilizing a standard Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
