This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. This unit is intended for clean water applications and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The motor features a NEMA 213 T frame and requires a 230-460/60/3 power supply. This assembly meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan and is configured with a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit maintains a DOE PEI of 0.91.
