This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and cover, a stainless steel NSF61-compliant impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal comprised of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit employs a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from the system fluid and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service access without disturbing system piping.
The pump is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, configured for 230-460/60/3PH power. It operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 213 JM motor frame with feet. This assembly supports across-the-line starting and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
