This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The impeller has a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a maximum temperature rating of 250 °F.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 3 HP, TEFC Baldor motor in a 213T NEMA frame. It is configured for 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power with across-the-line starting and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the motor, protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard.
