This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The design incorporates a dry shaft and flush seal line taps for particle filtration. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The pump features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and utilizes a rear pullout design to allow servicing without disturbing the system piping. The top center line discharge configuration facilitates self-venting and reduces piping strain.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor utilizes a NEMA frame 254 style JM with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92. The assembly is designed for a 40°C ambient temperature.
