This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter stainless steel (NSF61) impeller housed within a cast iron casing and cover. The unit includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. A mechanical seal is installed, consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250 °F. The pump assembly features pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and includes flush seal line taps. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without removing the system piping.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP premium efficiency Baldor motor. It is configured with a 213 JM motor frame style with feet and a TEFC enclosure. The motor supports a 230-460V/60/3PH power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This pump achieves a PEI of 0.84 and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 efficiency standards. The motor is configured for across the line starting and is rated for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment.
