This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter. It includes a bronze wear ring and utilizes a stainless steel shaft paired with a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is configured with a mechanical seal using a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent fluid contact with the shaft assembly.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 7-1/2 HP Baldor ODP motor with a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH, and the motor includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that features an integral drip pan and is connected to the motor via a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. This unit meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
