This close-coupled end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller. The design incorporates a dry shaft construction with a bronze shaft sleeve to isolate the circulating fluid from the pump shaft. Sealing components include a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber, rated for a maximum pressure of 125 PSI in applications without a wear ring. Pressure tappings are integrated into the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
Powering this assembly is a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operating at 1750 RPM, which incorporates Aegis grounding to protect the electrical system while utilizing 200-230V, 3PH power. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
