This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump is rated for temperatures up to 250°F and includes flush seal line taps. The top centerline discharge design simplifies piping layouts, while the rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disconnecting system piping. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 30 HP, 1750 RPM Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor that meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards. This TEFC motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor utilizes a 286 JM frame with feet. The unit operates at an ambient temperature of 40°C and is configured for counter-clockwise rotation. This pump maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
