This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a bronze wear ring, and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings at both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 326 T-frame with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply and an across-the-line starting option. The assembly includes a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. This unit maintains a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
